Intimate Wedding vs Elopement
Choosing a wedding style that suits you both is probably one of the hardest things.
Questions like; ‘Do we have a big wedding with everyone we know? Do we have a small wedding with just our nearest and dearest? Or do we just say our vows to each other with our two besties and then celebrate with everyone on a later date?’
Intimate Weddings and Elopements are our jam and here’s a quick little difference between the meanings!
A traditional Wedding can vary from a big shindig to a personalised love fest. You might have anywhere from 20 to 150+ guests.
Things that you might do in a Wedding:
+ You might get ready separately or together at home or in a hotel close to your venue.
+ You might choose your venue based on how many people it can cater for
+ You invite your closest people all the way to your extended family.
+ You might want to have a pumping dance floor with all your friends
+ You might host it on a private property and make a weekend out of it
Coverage options include Getting Ready, candids of your guests, Ceremony, Family & Friend Portraits, wedding party and your couple session, and reception coverage including speeches, cake cutting, first dance and dance floor shenanigans.
Weddings are typically 5 - 8 hours in coverage from a photographers perspective.
Intimate Weddings are basically a shortened and condensed version of a wedding! You might have anywhere from 4 to 20 guests.
Things that you might do in an Intimate Wedding:
+ You might get ready at home or your favourite stay either together or apart,
+ you might get hitched in your favourite spot - where you met, where you had your first date, where you said “I Love You”
+ you might choose your favourite bar or restaurant for your ‘reception’.
Coverage options could include a teeny bit of getting ready together, candids of your guests, Ceremony, Family & Friend Portraits and your couple session and if time permits, a teeny bit of your dinner/lunch!
Intimate weddings are typically 3 - 4 hours in coverage from a photographers perspective.
Elopements are for those who absolutely want to focus on themselves and not worry about anyone else. You might have anywhere from 2 to 0 guests.
Things you might do in an Elopement:
+ You might have two guests as witnesses or you might have your vendors be your witnesses.
+ you might get hitched in your favourite spot - where you met, where you had your first date, where you said “I Love You”
+ You might choose to have a party afterwards and surprise everyone that you eloped!
Coverage options could include a teeny bit of getting ready together, Ceremony, Portraits of you and your witnesses and your couple session.
Elopements are typically 1-3 hours in coverage from a photographers perspective.

LOVERS SHOOTS
You can think of these as engagement shoots, or just some photos where you get to go on an adventure, get all loved up and have some bloody awesome photos to hang up around the house. For weddings, lovers shoots are great for us to get to know each other and have a little practice run before the big day!
My Lovers shoots are what I call, spark re-igniters. Perhaps you’ve been together a long time and life is busy, or maybe kids have come in the picture and there’s been no couple time for you two to get back to your relationship core. These sessions are designed to get you back to that - a solid 90 minutes of you two indulging in each other without any other life worries. You can be as lovey as you want - or maybe it’s just about being close your lover. However your relationship is, that’s what we portray.
ALBUMS
Imagine picking up that velvety record cover that has you and your lover pictured like badass legends! If you chose the Double Vinyl, you'll be dancing around the lounge room listening to your favourite songs from your wedding right there on your record player.
Albums are one of the things that people will want to pick up off your coffee table and spend hours flicking through reliving the story from your wedding day.

01 Where are you based?
We are based in Brisbane, Australia but we travel all across the country
02 I’m not into the posed crap….
Well HALLELUJAH! If you haven’t read a thing on this site, it’s totally ok - but read this - We will not have you two stand there and make you feel awkward staring into the camera. We will guide you and prompt you with silly things to get your authentic reactions to each other. And trust us when we say, we're not into that posed crap either ok. There’s plenty of photographers that do that well but that’s not us.
03 How much do you charge?
The starting price is listed above, but get in touch here to request a full price list of the shoot you want!
04 How many images will I receive?
There is no real set number as it depends on all the things happening throughout the wedding day, but you could expect 50 images per hour of shooting.
05 How do I secure you for my wedding or shoot? / What’s the deposit?
Yessss! You just need to let me know which package you want, any add-ons and then I can get the ball rolling!
Each shoot has a booking fee to secure your date in our calendar, that booking fee must be paid within 7 days of deciding you want us!
The booking fee is:

06 I’m thinking about an album…
